Overview
True Compass Industries LLC develops Pickle Vision Pro (“PVP”), a private-beta iOS and iPadOS application for pickleball camera coordination, analysis, scoring, and replay. This policy describes the current beta. It will be updated before public release if the product’s data practices change.
Device permissions
PVP may request access to the camera and microphone to capture court action and detect relevant sound events. It may request local-network access to discover and communicate with nearby participating devices. These permissions can be changed in Apple device Settings.
Information processed
A beta application may include your name, email address, general location, pickleball experience, mobile platform and device models, expected camera count, court conditions, testing availability, and written responses. Depending on the app mode and permissions used, PVP may also process video frames, short replay clips, audio-derived event measurements, session device identifiers, camera setup information, ball observations, scores, player names supplied by the user, performance telemetry, and crash or diagnostic information.
PVP may process session information on participating devices and exchange information between them to provide requested features. Optional beta diagnostics are collected only with the tester’s consent. Beta features and diagnostic behavior may evolve as testing proceeds.
Storage and retention
Beta applications are submitted over encrypted HTTPS and stored in a Cloudflare-hosted database used by True Compass Industries for beta selection and administration. Access is limited to authorized business administration. Applications are retained while we evaluate participation and administer the program, then deleted or de-identified when no longer reasonably needed. Camera devices may hold rolling local media or event clips so a user can request replay. Users control saved highlights and can remove app data by deleting saved content or the app. Diagnostic records voluntarily submitted during beta may be retained as long as reasonably needed to investigate reliability and improve the product.
Your choices
You may decline camera, microphone, or local-network permission, although related features will not work. You may stop participating in a session, remove stored content, uninstall the app, or stop TestFlight testing. During the beta, privacy, access, correction, or deletion requests may be made through the support method below. We aim to acknowledge requests within 10 business days and complete verified requests within 30 days, unless additional time is reasonably required.
Security and children
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a developing beta. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. PVP is not directed to children under 13.
